As announced before we are back with the "ACM India Summer Schools 2025". There are 5 summer schools organized this year. Please see that page for more information. From an applicant point of view, the steps are:
- Check out the list of schools below, or on the ACM India Summer Schools 2025 page. Specifically, pay attention to the content and the prerequisites of the schools you plan to apply for.
- Apply to any two schools of your choice by paying a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 150 + 18% GST and completing the application form .
- The schools will select from this set of applicants. Selected students will be informed by email.
- Selected students pay a non refundable registration fee of Rs. 3000 + 18% GST and confirm their seat.
- Selected students then plan their travel to the school venue, and their return journey after the school is over. They are not required to pay for food or accommodation during the school.
- Our sincere request is to apply after careful consideration, also because the demand is high and the seats are limited to 40 per school.
Please note that you need not be an ACM member to attend any of these schools, but our usual recommendation is to become one and experience all other benefits ofACM student membership! ACM student member attendees of the schools will get a Rs. 500/- discount in the registration fees.
One school is reserved for women students, this time it is on "Immersive Realities: Demystifying AR, VR, and HCI" at Flame University, Pune.
Prof. Jaikumar is organizing a wonderful school on "Quantum Circuits and Quantum Algorithms" (QA). This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in quantum computing-especially for students and researchers in algorithms, complexity theory, or quantum computation.
PhD students are especially encouraged to apply! And feel free to circulate this among your students and colleagues who might be interested!
